Spinnin' Records is an independent dance music record label from the Netherlands, which started in 1999. Currently, Spinnin is recognized as one of the top dance labels in the world with numerous crossover top 40 hits from artists such as: Avicii, Alesso, Nicky Romero and Inna. Besides having a great share in air play on the Dutch radio stations, Spinnin Records also hosts 21 sub labels including Sander van Doorn's Doorn Records, Afrojack's Wall Recordings, Bingo Players' Hysteria and Koen Groeneveld's Abzolut Records, all mainly focusing on Progressive House and Electro House. Over the past years, Spinnin Records had successes on digital music stores including Beatport, which is said to be one of leading dance stores worldwide. General top 3 hits on Beatport include Nicky Romero's 'My Friend' (2009) (based on Groove Armada's classic), Koen Groeneveld amp; Addy van der Zwan's 'Gotta Move' (2010), Afrojack's 'Take Over Control' featuring Eva Simons and Blessed by Avicii. In the Netherlands, Spinnin Records is responsible for the majority of the dance music broadcast on both radio and TV. Some of the most important releases include Robin S's 'Show Me Love 2008' which topped at the #1 position for two weeks, Yolanda Be Cool vs D-Cup's 'We No Speak Americano' that topped the Dutch Charts in 2010 for seven weeks, Duck Sauce's 'Barbra Streisand' which was #1 for three weeks, Martin Solveig's 'Hello' that was charted #1 for four weeks and also the 3FM Serious Request Anthem of 2010.
