Dunn and Humby featured in Retail Insider’s ‘Movers and Shakers’ report

Starcount CEO, Edwina Dunn, and Chief Data Scientist, Clive Humby, have been featured in this year’s ‘Top 100 Movers and Shakers in Retail’ report From Retail Insider.

The report, released annually, aims to highlight the achievements of those individuals who are successfully bringing digital into their respective businesses.

Dunn and Humby were listed under the ‘Enablers & Facilitators’ section, for individuals who are supporting and inspiring UK retailers.

‘We are both delighted to have been recognised in Retail Insider’s prestigious ‘Movers and Shakers’ report’, said Dunn. ‘Highlighting our contributions to retail, and those of everyone featured in this report, shows the power of innovation. We look forward to more pioneering milestones with Starcount, transforming the ways in which businesses operate and helping to predict the science of purchase and intent.’

The report underlines their work and success with Starcount, stating: ‘The pairing of Dunn and Humby has been massively influential in the field of customer data and the creation of actionable insights from increasingly rich data sets. Having created dunnhumby and ultimately selling it to Tesco, they now run Starcount, which brings together data from various sources including social media to create new insight models that have powerful predictive capabilities.’

The Enablers & Facilitators are described in the report as individuals ‘that continue to thrive on the changing needs of consumers and in turn help the retailers included in this report to achieve success.’
